Welcome! My name is Brianna Deroche and I am the 2nd and 3rd grade School Counselor at FES. This is my 4th year at FES but I have been a School Counselor now for almost 10 years and I truly love my career. I am passionate about supporting the whole child and am eager to support your student as they navigate 2nd and 3rd grade. Social/emotional well being can be tricky as each child is unique. I am always learning new ways to engage students while teaching social skills and love sharing my understanding of the brain/neuroscience, mindfulness and yoga with students and families. I aim to update classroom lesson resources (that I am able to share) and general resources that will help you to support your child.

When I am not “Mrs. Deroche” you can find me with my family (and my two busy kiddos!), practicing yoga, running and reading voraciously. Please do not hesitate to reach out for resources, support or concerns!
